About

There is a better way to finally heal your chronic pain or injury.

Maybe you’ve gone to your doctor, you take pain medications, or you’ve done traditional physical therapy, and you’re still struggling with a recurring injury or chronic pain. You don’t have to just live with it.

There are so many factors that affect your ability to heal and stay pain-free: your movement patterns, nutrition and lifestyle, as well as your physical and emotional health. By addressing those factors and integrating yoga’s traditions of body awareness, posture, breathing and movement into your therapy, we can help you achieve better, longer lasting results.

What sets Inspire Health Physical Therapy apart is the whole person approach: This means looking at the big picture of your physical, mental, and emotional health, nutrition and lifestyle, and addressing all of these factors as part of your treatment.

Suzi Cooper, MPT, RYT-500 is a licensed physical therapist, advanced yoga teacher and health coach with a Masters of Physical Therapy, over 500 hours of advanced yoga teacher training, and advanced integrative health training in Functional Yoga Medicine.

Suzi’s 30 years in physical therapy and patient care have given her a deep understanding of how and why dysfunction and pain happen — and that a fragmented approach won’t fix a long-term problem. She recognized that looking at the big picture and taking a “whole-person” approach is the key to truly helping people achieve optimal recovery.

Her desire to do more for her patients led her to seek out additional training in yoga and integrative health, and use it to help people finally end their chronic pain, improve their lives and feel better for good. Through her practice, Inspire Health Physical Therapy, Suzi offers yoga-inspired physical therapy and 1-on-1 health coaching to clients in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and surrounding communities.

Suzi lives in Cedar Rapids with her husband, Tad, and together they have three grown children. Suzi enjoys exploring Cedar Rapids with her husband, going to dinner with friends, and visiting her out-of-state kids. She also enjoys practicing yoga, running, walking her dogs and playing golf and tennis. And she can’t wait to help you feel your best!
